AX-9 (900mm) rolling chassis that is up for sale
The Chassis was new in February this year. It has not been rewelded, bent or in any major accidents.

The Chassis has not been used much this year (2 club days) and has competed in 3 open events (it finished 4th at Bairnsdale, 5th in Horsham). We set one of the fastest times in Heat 1 and the final, and the carby session in the morning. The kart also ran from the rear of grid at the City Of Melbourne to 6th (a gain of 15 spots) in the final with very heavy rain as a Rookie.

New on the kart are the brake pads, brake disc, rear bearings, accelerator cable, kingpins (replaced due to normal wear and tear) and the stub axels (replaced due to normal wear and tear). The seat was new in September last year. Rear axle is standard. Side pods are a bit worn, but obviously dont effect performance.

This is the latest model at a bargain price. We are simply upgrading, hence the reson for sale.

It will come with 6 inch rear alloy rims. Tyres are only 80 laps old (2 x open meetings only)

All the components on the kart are ex-Brad Jenner’s (he is the Nations top Junior Driver) we brought the kart from him after his last Rookie race. Obviously we have changed the chassis since. The kart has always been competitive in both Midgets and Rookies with many podiums at club day level (Geelong and Oakleigh).

Can assist with a motor (Comer or Yamaha) if required. I would be happy to assist anyone with set ups etc. for most Victorian tracks.

Rotax FR125, 2007 Engine complete with:

This Engine was bought New by me and used in the 08 season at Todd Road (GKCV) to win the 2008 Rotax Heavy Championship. Always well maintained and serviced. The Clutch fitted to the Engine has just been re-built.

Has done less than an hour since top end re-build and only done approx. 12 hours in total. Only used once in 2009 and once this year to make sure it still works.

In perfect condition complete with all standard bars (front Teflon, side chrome, rear chrome) and additional chrome steel front bar for that little bit extra front bite, is fitted with the fantastic adjustable Master seat stays (you wind them in and out like tie rods for very easy ride height adjustment) and standard Douglas magnesium ventilated rims with bead locks. Other standard factory fittings include factory suede embroidered steering wheel and multi-adjustable camber / caster PH2 25mm stub axles with 10mm king pins.
